Six-Hour Wait for a Montreal Flight
Last Friday, you were flying from Vancouver to Montreal for your sister's wedding. Your flight was delayed by six hours, and passengers received very little information while they waited at the gate. Because you arrived after midnight, you missed an important family event and had to pay some unexpected costs.
Write an email to the airline's customer relations department in about 150-200 words. Your email should do the following things:
Describe what happened with your flight.
Explain the problems the delay caused you.
Say what compensation you would like.

City Traffic Improvement Survey
Traffic congestion has become a major issue in your city, causing long commutes and increased pollution. City officials are considering two possible solutions: expanding roads to accommodate more vehicles or improving public transportation options. Since budget limitations prevent both projects from happening at once, officials are seeking resident input.
Which option do you prefer? Why?
- Option A: Expand roads to reduce traffic congestion and make driving easier.
- Option B: Improve public transportation to encourage people to take buses and trains instead of driving.
