FAQ

How long should I study for CELPIP?

There is no fixed answer: it depends on the gap between your level now and your target, and how many hours a week you can study. Take one full test in each skill first. Your Listening and Reading scores give an estimated CLB, and the planner spreads the weeks you have left across your weakest skills.

What does the plan include?

Week 1 is a full test in every skill to find your level. The middle weeks each focus on one skill, with lessons from the free CELPass course for that skill and a full test, plus tests in the other skills as your hours allow. The last week is one more full test in every skill, then rest before test day. Every test and lesson is free and opens without an account.

How many hours a week should I plan?

Pick what you can really keep up every week. A full Listening test takes about 50 minutes, Reading about an hour, both Writing tasks 53 minutes and all eight Speaking tasks about 20 minutes, so 6 hours a week fits a full test in every skill and a few lessons.

Which skill should I study first?

Your weakest one, because your lowest skill decides whether you meet a program's minimum and how many CRS skill-transferability points you get. If you choose a weakest skill, the planner gives it every other week.

Is the plan saved?

No. It is calculated in your browser and nothing is sent to CELPass. Print it, or create a free account for a plan that follows your own scores and mistakes.
