Dear Residents,
The Oakwood Community Centre is excited to invite you to our annual Health Screening Event on May 15, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This initiative, in partnership with City Health Services, aims to promote wellness through free screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, and glucose levels.
The event will take place in the community hall, with qualified healthcare professionals overseeing all tests. Results will be provided on-site, along with personalized recommendations. We encourage all adults to participate, particularly those over 40 or with family health concerns. Could you confirm your attendance by May 10 to help us prepare adequate resources? Additionally, would you be interested in a follow-up workshop on nutrition in June?
To register, visit www.oakwoodhealth.org or call (780) 555-9876. Please inform us of any accessibility needs, such as wheelchair access or translation services. We hope this event fosters a healthier community and look forward to seeing you there.
