In my opinion, prioritizing subsidies for renewable energy over fossil fuels is imperative for achieving long-term environmental sustainability and combating climate change. While fossil fuels have historically powered economic development, their negative externalities, including carbon emissions and pollution, necessitate a strategic shift. Investing in renewables not only accelerates the transition to a low-carbon economy but also fosters technological innovation and energy security. Consequently, reallocating financial incentives from fossil fuels to clean energy sources reflects prudent policy aligned with global ecological imperatives.

I believe subsidies for renewable energy are more important than for fossil fuels because renewable sources like wind and solar help reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Fossil fuels contribute to climate change and air pollution. Supporting renewables encourages innovation and sustainable growth, which is better for the planet.

I think it is better to help renewable energy with money because it does not pollute the air. Fossil fuels make a lot of pollution and cause problems. So, governments should support clean energy more.
