WOMAN: Hey Mark, do you have a minute? I'm trying to rearrange my desk area, but that filing cabinet is way too heavy for me to move by myself.
MAN: Sure thing, Sarah. I can help you out. Is it the big metal one by the window or the smaller one near the printer?
WOMAN: The big one by the window. I'm trying to create more space for the new monitor they're giving me next week. That thing is massive!
MAN: No problem. I actually helped move that same cabinet when Diane from accounting got her new setup. Those things weigh a ton. When were you thinking of doing it?
WOMAN: Would now work? I've got that presentation at 2:00, so I was hoping to get it done before lunch.
MAN: Actually, I'm just finishing up these reports. Give me about ten minutes? Then we can tackle it together.
WOMAN: Perfect! That gives me time to clear off the top of it. Oh, and after we're done, would you want to grab coffee at that new place on Bloor Street? I heard they have amazing pastries.
MAN: You mean Maple Bean Café? I've been wanting to try that place! My roommate said their cinnamon rolls are incredible.
WOMAN: That's the one! And it's supposed to be less crowded than Starbucks. I think they have a special on lattes until 1:00 today.
MAN: Sounds great. We definitely deserve a treat after moving that cabinet. Plus, I could use the caffeine boost before the department meeting this afternoon.
WOMAN: Oh right, I forgot about that meeting. What time is it again?
MAN: It's at 3:30 in the Wellington Room. Dave said it shouldn't run longer than an hour.
WOMAN: That's not too bad. So we'll move the cabinet, grab coffee, I'll do my presentation, and then we've got the meeting. Busy day!
MAN: Welcome to Thursdays at Patterson & Co! Alright, let me just send this email and I'll meet you by your desk in five minutes.
WOMAN: Thanks, Mark. I really appreciate the help!
