Excellent answer (transcript): around CLB 11–12
Building a social circle in a new city can seem challenging, but there are many ways to meet new people. I recommend joining local clubs or activity groups based on your interests, such as sports, book clubs, or language classes. Attending community events or volunteering is another excellent way to connect with like-minded people. Don’t hesitate to start conversations with colleagues or neighbors—sometimes, friendships begin with a simple greeting. If you use social media, look for local groups or events to join. With patience and a proactive attitude, you’ll gradually develop meaningful friendships.
