Transcript (read it after you answer)
Volunteer: Hi, I’m assembling a donated bike for your charity. The instructions are vague. Can you help?
Staff: Sure! Which part is tricky?
Volunteer: The front wheel. The axle part is confusing.
Staff: Align the axle with the fork dropouts, then tighten the nuts evenly on both sides.
Volunteer: Okay, thanks. The brakes feel off, too.
Staff: Ensure the brake pads are 3 mm from the rim. Adjust the cable tension if needed.
Volunteer: Got it. Any tools I should use?
Staff: A wrench for the axle and a screwdriver for the brakes. We can lend tools if you stop by.
Volunteer: I have those. How long should it take?
Staff: About an hour if you’re comfortable with bikes. Call us if you hit a snag.
Volunteer: Will do. Thanks for the guidance!
Staff: Happy to help. Thanks for volunteering!
