A: Hey, I'm glad you could meet up. We need to finalize the plans for the surprise party next weekend.
B: Absolutely. Have you booked the venue yet?
A: Yes, I've reserved the community center. It's perfect and within our budget.
B: Great. What about the guest list?
A: I've invited about 30 people. Most have confirmed they're coming.
B: Excellent. We should discuss the food. I was thinking of hiring a catering service.
A: That might be expensive. What if we prepare the food ourselves?
B: That's a good idea. We could make some simple dishes and ask guests to bring something too.
A: Perfect. Now, for entertainment, I thought we could hire a local band.
B: Sounds fun, but maybe we could just create a playlist instead? It would be cheaper.
A: You're right. We'll save money for decorations that way.
B: Speaking of which, I can handle the decorations. I'll get balloons, streamers, and a banner.
A: Fantastic. Don't forget we need to coordinate to get them there before the guest of honor arrives.
B: No problem. I'll make sure everything's set up in time. This party's going to be great!
