Dear Members,
Our book club’s growing, and I’d like your thoughts on expanding! We’ve met monthly for a year now, reading everything from mysteries to sci-fi, and we’re averaging 15 attendees per session. I’m proposing we split into two groups—one for fiction, one for nonfiction—to cater to varied tastes. Would you prefer this, or should we stick to one group with alternating genres? Another idea: adding a virtual option via Zoom for those who can’t make it in person. Should we keep it free, or charge a small fee for tech costs?
Meetings are currently at the library, but I’ve reserved a café for our next one on March 10th at 7 p.m.—think pastries and coffee. Should we make this permanent, or rotate venues? I’d also love two volunteers to help pick books for April by March 1st. Reply by February 25th with your ideas—I want this to work for everyone!
Happy reading,
Tara (Club Organizer)

Dear Tara,
Expansion sounds exciting—I’ve really enjoyed our club this year! The café’s is a great perk, and it’ll make the next meeting feel special. I’d vote for two groups— fits my taste since I lean toward nonfiction these days. A small fee for Zoom is okay— seems reasonable to keep it running smoothly without burdening anyone. I’d keep the café— is cozy, and I think it beats the library’s fluorescent lights. I can help with books— works for me, and I’d love to dig into some April picks with you! Thanks for keeping this group thriving.
Regards,
Leo
