***Alternative Choice (Your Friend’s Preference):

Traditional Bicycle: Reliable, affordable, encourages physical activity, and does not depend on charging.

Excellent answer (transcript): around CLB 11–12

I understand the appeal of a traditional bicycle, especially for those who value exercise and a lower maintenance cost. However, I believe the electric scooter is far more suitable for commuting. It allows me to travel much faster, saving precious time every day, and I won’t arrive at work exhausted or needing to change clothes. The minimal increase in maintenance cost is justified by the convenience and efficiency. While bicycles promote fitness, the electric scooter’s practicality and speed make it the ideal commuting solution in a busy city.

Good answer (transcript): around CLB 7–8

While I know bicycles are good for health and don’t need to be charged, I prefer the electric scooter for commuting. It is faster, reaching up to 25 km/h, and I don’t have to pedal, so I won’t arrive at work feeling tired or sweaty. Although the monthly cost is slightly higher, the time and effort I save make it worth it. That’s why the electric scooter is the better choice for my daily commute

Basic answer (transcript): around CLB 4–5

I think electric scooters are better. You don’t need to pedal, so you don’t get tired or sweaty. The scooter is faster, so I can save time. It is easy to use and not much more expensive to keep. Bicycles are good for exercise, but I want to travel quickly and easily to work. So I choose the electric scooter
