I firmly believe that expanding nuclear energy as a clean power source is vital for meeting growing global energy demands while minimizing environmental harm. Nuclear power plants generate immense amounts of electricity with negligible greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil fuels. Although the risks associated with nuclear accidents and long-term radioactive waste management are significant, advancements in reactor safety and waste disposal technologies mitigate these concerns. Therefore, with rigorous oversight and investment in innovation, nuclear energy can be a cornerstone of a sustainable and low-carbon energy strategy.

In my opinion, expanding nuclear energy is a good idea because it produces large amounts of electricity without harmful greenhouse gases. Unlike fossil fuels, nuclear power has a much smaller carbon footprint, which is essential in fighting climate change. However, concerns about nuclear accidents and radioactive waste must be carefully addressed through strict safety regulations and improved technology. I think nuclear energy should be used more because it does not make much pollution. It can help us have more clean electricity. But nuclear power can be dangerous if accidents happen. Still, it is better than using coal or oil because those make a lot of smoke.
