Anna: Hey, Sam, you’re helping at the food kitchen this weekend, right?
Sam: Yeah, Anna, I’ll be there Saturday morning. What’s the plan?
Anna: We’re serving lunch for about 50 people. I’m organizing the serving line, but we need someone to prep vegetables.
Sam: I can do that. What time should I get there?
Anna: Prep starts at 9 a.m. Lunch is served at noon, so we need everything ready by 11:30.
Sam: Got it. What are we cooking?
Anna: It’s a simple menu: vegetable soup, bread rolls, and fruit salad. The soup needs carrots, potatoes, and onions chopped.
Sam: Sounds good. Do we have enough ingredients?
Anna: We got a big donation yesterday, so we’re set. But we’re short on aprons, so bring your own if you have one.
Sam: No problem, I’ve got one. Should I bring anything else?
Anna: Maybe gloves if you want to be extra careful. Oh, and we need someone to help clean up after lunch. Can you stay until 2 p.m.?
Sam: Yeah, I’m free. I’ll help with cleanup too.
Anna: Awesome, thanks. By the way, Maria’s leading the team this time. She’ll assign tasks when you arrive.
Sam: Cool. I’ve worked with her before. Should I confirm with her?
Anna: Just show up on time, and she’ll take it from there. Thanks for stepping up, Sam!
Sam: Happy to help. See you Saturday!
