Dear Westside Community Center,

I recently moved to Vancouver from Brazil and am eager to improve my English to help with daily life here. I heard your center offers language classes for newcomers, and I’d like to learn more. Are the classes free, or is there a cost? Also, do they run in the evenings? I’m working part-time during the day.

I’m at a beginner level, so I’m wondering if the classes are suitable for someone like me or if they’re more for advanced learners. Another question: do I need to bring any materials, like notebooks or textbooks? I want to be prepared.

Thanks for supporting people new to Canada—it means a lot as I settle in.

Best,

Carla
