Excellent answer (transcript): around CLB 11–12

Handling peer pressure at work can be tricky, but it’s important to set boundaries. If you’re uncomfortable with certain activities, politely decline and explain that you prefer to spend your free time differently. You can express appreciation for the invitation while being firm about your decision. It might help to suggest alternative ways to socialize that you’re more comfortable with. Remember, you’re not obligated to participate in everything, and true colleagues will respect your choices.
