Mia: Yeah, Jake, I’m in! It’s for the local animal shelter, right?

Jake: Yep, all proceeds go to them. I registered online yesterday. Have you?

Mia: Not yet. How much is the registration fee?

Jake: It’s $25, but you get a free T-shirt. You need to sign up by tomorrow to get one.

Mia: Cool, I’ll do it tonight. What time does the walk start?

Jake: It’s at 8 a.m. at the park. The route’s 5 kilometers, so it’ll take about an hour.

Mia: Nice. Should we meet up beforehand?

Jake: Yeah, let’s meet at the entrance at 7:30 a.m. Bring a water bottle; it might be warm.

Mia: Good call. Are we walking together, or is it a group thing?

Jake: We can walk together. My sister’s joining too, so it’ll be the three of us.

Mia: Fun! Is there anything else I need to know?

Jake: Just wear comfy shoes and maybe sunscreen. They’ll have snacks at the finish line.

Mia: Awesome. I’ll register tonight and text you to confirm.

Jake: Perfect. It’s going to be a great day for a good cause!

Mia: Totally. See you Sunday, Jake!
