Transcript (read it after you answer)

MAN: Hi Grace, we should sort out the holiday cards and gifts soon. Last year we left it until the week before and it was chaos.

WOMAN: Don't remind me. I was wrapping presents at midnight while you were addressing envelopes with terrible handwriting.

MAN: Hey, my handwriting is fine. But you're right, let's split it properly this time. How about I take the cards and you take the wrapping?

WOMAN: That works, though there are a lot of cards this year, and Grandma keeps adding cousins. Maybe I help with the addresses.

MAN: Deal. If you read the addresses out, I'll write and stamp them. We can knock it out in one evening.

WOMAN: Sounds fun. For the wrapping, I want to use that brown paper and string look, since it's cheaper and photographs nicely.

MAN: I like that, very tidy. Just don't go overboard with those tiny bows though; you spent an hour on one gift last year.

WOMAN: That gift was for Mom, so it deserved it! Besides, your envelopes still look like a doctor wrote them. I'll keep the rest simple, though. Can you pick up more tape and a roll of paper?

MAN: I'll grab them tomorrow on my way home. Should we set a deadline so we don't slip again?

WOMAN: Let's aim to finish everything by the tenth. That leaves plenty of time before the post office gets busy.

MAN: The tenth works well for me. I'll put it on the fridge calendar so neither of us forgets.
