Transcript (read it after you answer)

MAN: Hey Grace, I noticed you put the cleaning schedule back on the fridge.

WOMAN: Yeah, I figured a bit more structure might help. Things have felt a little crowded lately.

MAN: Crowded how? We've had the same setup for months.

WOMAN: I don't know, maybe it's just me. I've been staying in my room more, that's all.

MAN: You have been quieter. I thought maybe work was just busy.

WOMAN: Work's fine, actually. I guess I just need a bit more time to myself these days.

MAN: Sure, that's fair. Is it something I did?

WOMAN: No, no, it's not about you specifically. These walls are thin, so I stay in my room to avoid adding to the noise.

MAN: I mean, I try to keep things down.

WOMAN: I know. It's not a complaint, exactly. I just miss having a door that closes off a room, which is really why I've been holed up in there instead of saying something sooner.

MAN: We could get a proper curtain for the kitchen entrance, at least block some sound.

WOMAN: That would help a little. Honestly, what I really want is just some quiet hours after ten, maybe headphones only after that.

MAN: That's easy enough. Why didn't you just say that from the start?

WOMAN: It felt like a bigger conversation than it should be, and I didn't want you to think I was upset with you.

MAN: It really isn't. We're fine.

WOMAN: Good. I just didn't want it to seem like I was avoiding you.

MAN: You're not. I get it. Quiet hours after ten, starting tonight.
